Who is behind JornadaPro
There is no company behind this. There is one person who worked by the hour and got tired of not knowing whether he was being paid properly.

JornadaPro is built by Edward Alexander Trinidad Santana, who signs his work as ETrinidad Dev. You can see it in his portfolio, and his email, etrinidad.dev@gmail.com, is the same one that answers support. There is no contact form that goes nowhere.
Why it exists
When you are paid by the hour, your income changes every week: shifts that fall through, overtime you are not sure you are owed, tips that get split, breaks that go unpaid, kilometres you cover yourself. Almost nobody keeps track, because keeping track by hand is a job in itself. And when you do not keep track, you have no way of knowing whether your pay stub is right.
That is the only problem this app tries to solve: that at the end of the shift you know exactly what you earned, and at the end of the month you have a record of your own, in case you ever need it.
How it is paid for
The app is free. Pro features unlock with a one-time payment of $4.99 CAD through Google Play. There is no subscription, there are no ads and no data is sold: those are the three usual ways to monetize an app like this, and none of them is used here. The consequence is that the app has no reason to hold on to your attention — you are better off opening it twice a day and closing it.
What it is not
It is not a payroll system, an accounting program, or tax or legal advice. The calculations are estimates based on what you enter, and they need to be reconciled against official pay stubs. That is written plainly, without decoration, in the terms, and the methodology spells out what each calculation leaves out.
About ratings
This site shows no stars and no download counts. The app was published on August 2, 2026 and does not yet have enough reviews for an average to mean anything. When it does, the real ones will go up, taken from Google Play. An invented score on a site that links to a paid product is not marketing: it is misrepresentation, and it is prohibited both by Google Play policy and by Canadian competition law.
Where it works
Logging hours, tips, mileage, expenses and reports works in any country, with Canadian dollars, US dollars, euros, Mexican pesos or Dominican pesos. The tax breakdown with CPP and EI is specific to Canada and ships turned off: outside Canada you use your own percentage. The calculators on this site, by contrast, are Canadian from start to finish.
